Our Policies
Violin Making Workshop Policy
The location of our headquarters in Cremona—a city with a long-standing reputation as a hub of the violin-making industry—has helped us develop the best insurance solutions for this sector. As a result, we have created a policy that covers instruments owned by the policyholder, as well as those undergoing restoration, held on consignment, or awaiting appraisal and stored in a workshop.
Scope of Coverage
This policy provides coverage for direct property damage resulting from accidental events that cause the loss, destruction, or damage of the insured and/or stolen items. This applies both at the Policyholder's workshop and elsewhere. Coverage is provided continuously, whether the instruments are in use, being transported, or not in use. The insurance also applies if the items are provided to third parties for use (including instruments provided on a trial basis), for safekeeping, for maintenance, or for transport, without prejudice to the Company's right to seek recourse against such third parties.
Rented instruments are therefore also covered under the policy.
Rented instruments are therefore also covered under the policy.
Policy Structure
The policy allows you to insure a fixed sum without the need to provide a list of instruments. Through online management, you can immediately add coverage for income (from instruments under restoration, on consignment, or appraisals) that exceeds the insured amount. At the end of the insurance year, the premium will be settled.
